Recreational pilot certificate requirements are relevant to those candidates who would like to fly single engine planes. To obtain a recreational pilot certification is relatively easy when compared to obtaining the private pilot certification.   • The minimum age limit that the candidates should posses while applying for the recreational pilot certification is 16 years.
  • Good oral and written communication skills is a must in the English language
  • Must have a reference from an expert pilot who endorses the knowledge and skill of the candidate in aeronautical science and flying airplanes.
  • Candidates must have passed the test to display the learning from training and general traits needed to be possessed by a recreational pilot.
  • Must be eligible according to the requirements specifications as published by the examination conducting institution

Other Requirements For Obtain Recreational Pilot Certificate:

  • There are only a few restricted spaces where a recreational pilot is allowed to fly.
  • Candidates who are applying for the recreational pilot certificate need to comply with all the physical requirements only then will they be eligible to get the license for flying as a recreational pilot.
  • The recreational pilot is advised to fly only during the day time
  • Must have a minimum flying experience of 30 hours
  • At least three hours of cross-border flight in a single-engine airplane is also a must
